Vipul Shah Bags is a testament to a lifelong journey rooted in heritage. Growing up amidst generations of textile collectors, Vipul learned to recognize the soul within every fabric. Inspired by his family’s passion, he transformed this inheritance into a modern expression of craft.
Located within the iconic Ganesh Emporium in the heart of Udaipur, the boutique resides in a beautifully restored haveli—a space that holds its own stories. Much like the emporium, which has long been a treasure trove of textiles and artifacts, Vipul Shah Bags is an extension of this rich legacy.
The brand began as a way to give new life to vintage textiles—many of which were collected by Vipul’s father and grandfather over decades. These fabrics, rich in character, are thoughtfully reimagined into contemporary forms.
